HEDIS® Reports Beacon’s Health Plan Partners’ 7 and 30 Day Medicaid Follow-Up Rates Lead the Nation

Woburn, MA: Building on a long history of exceptional performance in working with publicly funded populations, Beacon Health Strategies (BHS), a leading URAC and NCQA accredited managed behavioral health organization, has exceeded the 90th percentile on behalf of two of it’s health plan partners as reported by Quality Compass 2007®. Quality Compass® is NCQA’s comprehensive national database of health plans’ HEDIS results and contains plan-specific, comparative and descriptive information on the performance of hundreds of managed care organizations.

Beacon’s 30 Day performance on behalf of Neighborhood Health Plan and Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island exceeds the 90th percentile as reported in Quality Compass® 2007 by 12.18 and 7.88 percentage points, respectively. graph
