Woburn, MA -Beacon Health Strategies (Beacon), a managed behavioral health organization (MBHO) with both URAC and NCQA accreditation, is pleased to announce its new partnership with Neighborhood Health Providers (NHP), New York based Medicaid managed care health plan. In its new partnership with NHP, Beacon will also manage the behavioral health benefits for NHP’s recently acquired Suffolk Health Plan (Suffolk) members located in Long Island County, New York. In this new partnership, Beacon will administer all behavioral health benefits for NHP’s Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus and Medicare members. This award represents an important business expansion in the New York market, where Beacon currently serves Hudson Health Plan in Tarrytown, New York and Affinity Health Plan in the Bronx.

NHP selected Beacon after conducting a thorough review of competing MBHOs.
