Beacon Expands DC Presence
with Health Right, Inc. Contract Award
WOBURN, MA
- Beacon Health Strategies (Beacon), a managed behavioral health organization (MBHO) with both URAC and NCQA accreditation, is pleased to announce its new partnership with Health Right, Inc., in the District of Columbia. Effective December 1, 2008, Beacon began administering all behavioral health benefits for Health Right’s DC Healthy Family members and providing case coordination for Health Right’s DC HealthCare Alliance members. This award expands Beacon’s DC footprint where Beacon has served Chartered Health Plan since May 2008.
Health Right’s Chief Executive Officer, Donna Carris comments that “Beacon’s philosophy of care, emphasizing the ‘right care at the right time,’ is closely aligned with ours.
